She is survived by: her sons, John Parks Thomas (Kathy) of Elizabethtown and Julius Elbert "Bert" Thomas, II of Chadbourn; and her grandson John Hobson Thomas (Sarah). She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chadbourn UMC or to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
