Geraldine leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Geraldine’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Geraldine will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Ward and Rosa Blackmon Ward. She is survived by: her son Christopher A. Gilmore (Robin) of Wilmington; and her granddaughter Addison Gilmore.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery (6120 Chadbourn Hwy, Chadbourn, NC 28431).
