He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dock Williams and Doshie McDuffie Williams; his son James Cameron; his siblings, Bessie S. Hammond of Fair Bluff and Johnny Ray Williams (Jennifer) of Chadbourn; his stepsons, Buddy, Mark and Thomas "Tommy" Norris; and his close friend Karen Walker. He was also cherished by step-grandchild, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:45 PM at the Tyson Cemetery (186-390 Page Mill Rd, Cerro Gordo, NC 28430). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431).
