As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Lyndal Strole and Pauline Dyson Strole; and his siblings, David Strole, Cleona Strole Thompson, Barbara Strole Starceski, Ann Strole Nichols and Larry Strole.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha Williams Strole. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends; and his best friend, the neighbour's dog.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare or to New Hope Baptist Church.
