She is survived by: her daughter Rita Jo McPherson Harper of Pittsboro, NC; her grandchildren, William Shaun McPherson (Erin) of Austin, TX and Jamie Harper Teague (Justin) of Pittsboro, NC; and her great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Caroline, Alexis and Bristol.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church (2665 Beaverdam Rd, Chadbourn, NC 28431). A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 2:45 PM at the Whiteville Memorial Cemetery (1014 James B White Hwy N, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church (2665 Beaverdam Rd, Chadbourn, NC 28431).
