We bid farewell to Martha Duncan (Chadbourn, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 30, 2025 at the age of 86. Martha touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Willie" Lee Nobles and Minnie Lee Nobles; her husband Grady Duncan; her daughter Lisa Duncan Buffkin; and her siblings, Alton Nobles, Archie Nobles, Elroy Nobles, Earl Nobles, Gladys Prevatte, Mary Creech, Kathleen Hilbourn, Sarah Robinson, Onzie Nobles and Emma Lee Edwards.
She is survived by: her son Mark Duncan (Angela) of Chadbourn; her grandchildren, Melissa Watts, Cory Duncan, Amanda Green and Amber Walters; her great grandchildren, Olivia Watts, Joshua Watts, Tucker Green, Montana Duncan, Tori Green, Mason Walters and Mallory Duncan; her sister Sadie Nobles Hammonds of Chadbourn; and her son-in-law Ricky Buffkin of Chadbourn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Ward Station Church of God (5478 Rough and Ready Rd, Chadbourn, NC 28431).
