With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mona Fields of Chadbourn, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2026 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Mona's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mona has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Jones and Kala Kristy Johnson; and her half-brother Robert Baxter Adair. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
