With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pinkney Devon Duncan (Chadbourn, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Duncan and Eunice Sellers Duncan; and his brother Donald Duncan. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Elaine Cartrette Duncan; his children, Gregory Devon Duncan and Pamela Duncan Cartrette (Matthew) of Wilmington; his granddaughters, Victoria Caroline Cartrette of Raleigh and Elizabeth Cartrette Brogden (Luke) of Charlotte; and his siblings, Danny Duncan, Richard Duncan, Kenneth Duncan, Bobby Duncan, Larry Duncan and Dorothy Duncan Casselman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Devon Attended Williams Township School. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431).
