She is survived by: her children, Wesley Gordon Powell (Sharron) of Cerro Gordo and Corintha Powell Soles of Chadbourn; her grandchildren, Andrea (Scott), Lorianne, Sheila, Wendy and Steven (Crystal); her great grandchildren, Savannah, Cadence, Austin, Dylan, Emily, Kaylee and Nathan; her great great grandchild Elaina; and her siblings, I. V. Cribb, Carolyn Williams and Barbara Barnes (Jerry).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Gowan Cemetery.
