She is survived by: her husband Charles Terry Lawrence, Sr.; her children, Ronald "Chuck" Williams and Gwendolyn Lawrence; her siblings, Lizzie Collins, Jerry Williams, Albert Williams and Annie "SueSue" Pace Foushee; her cousin Mary Burnette; her children, Allison Battle (Jerry) of Chapel Hill, Terri Lawrence-McNair and Charles Terry Lawrence, Jr. of Durham; her cousin Marion Farrar (Andrew) of Chapel Hill; her son John Allen of Delaware; her grandchildren, Omolara (Taylor) of Durham, Nailah of Durham, Annakiya of Durham, Kamaria of Durham and Naazir of Durham; her great grandchildren, Tyler of Durham, Imena of Durham, Estelle of Durham, Rekia of Durham and Tylia of Durham; her siblings, Robert Williams of Durham, Herbert Williams (Cassandra) of Durham, Julia Cromartie of Durham, Patricia Patterson (Percival) of Durham, Gloria Jean Irving of Durham, Linda McLean (James) of Oxford and John Wayne Williams of Ohio; and her sister-cousin Beatrice Burnette of Chapel Hill. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
