Barbara Swartz Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 20, 2026, at the age of 92, Barbara Swartz of Chapel Hill, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Swartz to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Johnson; her husband Allen "Buz" Michael Swartz, Sr.; and her son Allen Michael "Mike" Swartz, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Miriam Johnson; her children, Hank Swartz (Kelly) and Amy Klein; her daughter-in-law Katrina Swartz; and her grandchildren, Caitlin Swartz, Ealer Swartz (Nathan Payne), Cole Swartz, Colby Cash and Madilyn Klein. She is also survived by mother, good listener, and best friend to her grandchildren.
