He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Downing Morris; his sons, Allan Joseph Morris (Deanne) of Atlanta, GA, Rodney Lee Morris (Maura) of Chapel Hill, NC and Gary Raymond Morris (Lori) of Jupiter, FL; his grandchildren, Greyson, Brooks Edwin, Siler, Hannah, Weston, Madison and Lyla; his siblings, Jane Erwin of Chapel Hill, NC, Carol Burke of Mt. Airy, NC, Jimmy Morris (J. T.) of Charlotte, NC and David Morris; and his parents, Joseph Alvin Morris and Rebecca Griffin Morris Moser. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
