It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Pruett of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Julius Edison Pruett and Martha Loyal Pruett; and his wife Lynn Boyd Pruett. He is survived by : his children, Joshua Edwin Pruett of Jefferson, GA and Holly Pruett Baker (Toby) of Chapel Hill, NC; his grandchildren, Taylor Nicole and Bryson Andrew Baker; his sister Julia Pruett Dameron (Frank Dameron) of Knoxville, TN; and his friend Pat Dixon of Greensboro.
