Ernest Braxton Obituary

Ernest Braxton, born on June 20, 1941 in Alamance, North Carolina, passed away on October 12, 2026. Ernest leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his daughters, Janet Braxton (Vance Price), Margaret Williamson and Tina Siemens (Robert Siemens); his siblings, Vance Braxton and Jean Holmes; and his grandchildren, Dana Normoyle (Glenn Normoyle), Sara Kooken (Chris Kooken), Tanner Siemens (Michelle Warcup), Adam Williamson, Clay Williamson and Brandon Williamson. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Concord United Methodist Church (4462 E Greensboro Chapel Hill Rd, Graham, NC 27253). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to the UNC Foundation in honor of Hospice Care or to Concord United Methodist Church in Graham, North Carolina.
