She is survived by: her husband Onsy Makar; her children, Vivian and Joseph; her grandchildren, Rachel Makar, Zachary and Joshua Gergues; her sister Fadia Zaki; her son Dr. Ernest Zaki (Haidy Mounir); her grandchildren, Hannah and Khyla; her children, Sebastian, Emmanuel, Alexander, Ekhlas Shoukralla, Dr. Dena Shoukralla and Dr. Maged Shoukralla (Diane Sabra); her grandson Joseph; her children, Mary Youssef and Johnny Youssef (Abby Marrin); her grandchildren, Laney, Milo, Dr. Harvey Youssef (Marjorie Blanton) and Mervat Ghaly; her daughter Marina Abaev (Nic Abaev); her granddaughter Nora; and her children, Mark Ghaly, Dr. Raif El Sakr, Dr. Carol El Sakr, Andrew El Sakr, Dr. Yousseff Wassef, Dr. Jessica Wassef (Simon Persico), Christina Wassef, Ashraf El Sakr and Nassef El Sakr.
