He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ann Irvin Wilson; his daughters, Jennifer Wilson of Carrboro, Anna Wilson of Saxapahaw and Robin Johnston (Inho Kang) of Hillsborough; his grandson Peter Johnston (Elizabeth Johnston); his great grandchild Brooks Johnston; his granddaughter Merrimon Stillman (Joshua Stillman); his great grandchildren, Jacob Stillman and David Stillman; his granddaughter Ann Johnston (Sasha Ermoshkin); and his parents, Frank Wilson and Ida Cheyney Bryan Wilson.
In place of flowers, friends may make a donation to the School of Medicine Academy of Educators at the University of North Carolina.
