It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Georgene Ruth Edwards of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her sisters, Beverly Kelton and Elaine Pekar. She is survived by : her children, Deon Eileen Roach (Michael) of Chapel Hill, NC and Donald Francis Edwards, Jr. (Linda) of Enfield, CT; her grandchildren, Donald Francis Edwards III, Connor Michael Roach, Samuel Tanner Roach and Mary Catherine Edwards; and her siblings, Marilyn Criche, Caryl Thomas (Bill) and Bob Vose (Judy).
