He is survived by: his wife Ann; his son Scott Koermer; his sister-in-law Mary Ellen of Tyrone, GA; and his nieces, Carolyn Proffitt of Newnan, GA and Jennifer Renfroe of Florida. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
