With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Morris in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on May 12, 2026 at the age of 33. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, George Morris of Chapel Hill and Margo MacIntyre of Chapel Hill; his significant other Gracyn Meredith Davis; his brother Weston Morris (Rosemary McDonnell-Horita) of Berkeley, CA; his grandparents, Kathy and George Morris, Sr. of Dover; his uncle Steve Morris (Chris Morris); his cousins, Evan, Ellis of San Diego, Larry Morris (Dee Dee Morris), Sara of Wilmington, DE and Christopher (Colorado); his aunt Sharon Morris Fleming (Mike Fleming) of Dover; his cousin Sean Santiago of Wilmington, NC; his uncle Lynn MacIntyre (Melanie) of Merritt Island, FL; and his cousins, Ian (Montana) and Amilia.
Just before the Covid-19 pandemic, Gordon moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, to work for the ski resort and spend a winter snowboarding. Unfortunately, that adventure was cut short by the pandemic and he returned to North Carolina for lockdown.
