It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Andre (Chapel Hill, North Carolina), born in Ames, Iowa, who passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Janet had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Janet may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Oliver Wildman and Ruby Skartvedt Wildman. She is survived by: her husband Richard Andre; her sons, Michael Andre and Gregory Andre; and her siblings, Gretchen Finn and John Wildman.
