We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2025, at the age of 70, Jeffrey Andrews Rubish (Chapel Hill, North Carolina), born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jeffrey departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jeffrey. Though Jeffrey may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Rubish and Patsy Andrews Rubish; and his wife Barbara Rubish. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Rubish (Brooke Rubish), Kathryn Rubish and Connor Rubish; and his grandchildren, Walker and Willow Rubish. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the University Baptist Church (100 S Columbia St, Chapel Hill, NC 27514).
While Jeffrey truly loved flowers, in lieu of, a contribution may be made to the University Baptist Church or Duke University Cancer Hospital to support children battling cancer.
