We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Joan Risser of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, born in Lee, Florida. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Clark and Gertrude Kinchen Clark; and her brother Robert Clark, Jr.. She is survived by : her husband Donald O. Risser; her daughter Pamela J. Sanger (Daniel); her siblings, Darryl Lane Clark (Audrey Jo), June Oxier and Marlene Boydston (Cecil); her grandchildren, Kristin Burrows (Brian), Cynthia Keener (Dustin) and Jordan Sanger; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Alexander, Cole, Chloe and Merritt.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, DUMC Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710.
