He was predeceased by: his sons, William (Buddy) and Wayne Hammond. He is survived by: his wife Sally Hammond (MacDonald); his children, Alison McMahon (Jay) of Midlothian, VA and Ashley Clarke (Hamish) of Chapel Hill, NC.; his grandchildren, Alina, Luke McMahon, Maisie, Meridie Clarke, Katie and Marcus Hammond; his sister Noreen; his brother-in-law Howard Agnew; his niece Pam Lawrence; and his nephew Bill Agnew.
