We announce the death of Konrad Hugo Jarausch in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlotte Petri and Konrad Jarausch. He is survived by: his wife Hannelore Flessa Jarausch; his sons, Konrad and Peter; his grandchildren, Tyson, Anneliese, Charlotte and Johanna; his daughters-in-law, Melissa Ober and Shannon Tracey; and his siblings-in-law, Karl Flessa and Mari Jensen.
