It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Roberta Porter (Chapel Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on June 28, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Wrenn Obst and Rudolph William Franklin Obst; and her husband Johnie B. Porter. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Huber (Tracy Huber) of Creedmoor, NC, Katherine Porter of Durham, NC and John Porter, Jr. (Wendy) of Bolivia, NC; her grandchildren, Brady, Brook, Justin, Lisa, Laura, Matt, Danielle, Brittany and Tyler; her great grandchildren, Gabriel and Grace; and her grandchildren, Madelyn, Harrison, McKenzie, Piper, Johnethyn, Kearstyn, Jaxon, Liam and Everliegh.
