She was predeceased by : her parents, Hazel Marie Buchanan (Criner) and Harold "Buck" Leroy Buchanan; her siblings, Jean Ann McNutt and James Buchanan of Grove City; her husband Reverend Richard Hawke; her daughter Jennifer Lynn Hawke-Petit; and her grandchildren, Hayley Elizabeth Petit and Michaela Rose Petit.
She is survived by : her daughter Cynthia Hawke-Renn of Chapel Hill, NC; her grandchildren, Evan Neal Renn, Lydia Noel Renn and DiBona (Winslow DiBona); her great grandchild Sullivan Cooper DiBona of Charleston, SC.; and her son-in-law Dr. William A. Petit Jr. of Plainville, CT. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
