He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Bowling and Bill Bowling. He is survived by: his significant other Denise Christopher Bowling; his son Barrett; his daughter-in-law Meaghan Bowling of Cary, NC; his grandchildren, Claire, Alden, Graham and Merritt; his son Alexander (Alex); his daughter-in-law Nicole Bowling of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Ansley and Everett; his sister Cherrie; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Ariail of Greensboro, NC, June Sanders of Zebulon, NC and Diane Pentz of Salinas, CA. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews; and seven great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Support Program to help patients and families across our state who are in cancer treatment. Donations can be made online or by mail.
