She is survived by: her husband David Reed; her brother Quentin Emerson; her children, Gregory Emerson, Glen Brown, Cara Meilus (Al) and Deeadra Brown (Avi Bornstein); and her grandchildren, Emily Meilus, Aziza Bornstein-Brown and Naeem Bornstein-Brown.
