With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelly Cuenca of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on October 28, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jorge Ojeda, Encarnacion Ojeda, Jr., Ana E. Fregenal and Aida Maria Rosas. She is survived by: her daughters, Ana (Douglas McCrory) and Dr. Rosa Cuenca (Gordon Downie); and her grandchildren, Nicholas McCrory, Lucas McCrory, Gordon Downie, Jr. and Nelida Downie. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Heart to Heart Hospice.
