She was predeceased by: her mother Lelia Mangum Ferrell; her former husband H. Garland Latta; her husband Vincent T. Dodson; and her siblings, Violet Chappell, Madeline Sparrow, Frances Reaves and John R. Ferrell.
She is survived by: her daughter Myrtle Frances Slocum; her son-in-law C. Ken Slocum of Orange County; her grandchildren, Alison S. Achenbach (Christian) of Hoboken, N. J., Chris Slocum (Tita) of Greensboro, N. C. and Daniel Slocum of Montreal; her great grandchildren, Angelica Slocum, Charles Slocum and Thomas Slocum; Tanya Whitted and Pansy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Pansy has requested donations to Camp of New Hope, OCIM, Durham Rescue Mission, or your favorite charity.
