She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jim" Keaveney and Claire Keaveney. She is survived by: her husband Richard Murdock; her daughters, Marissa C. Murdock and Crystal E. Powell (James Powell); and her grandchildren, Emmett, Scarlett, Beckett, Violett and Pruett.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made in Patty's honor to The Chapel, Chapel Hill Baptist.
