Sharon Boone Hamner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Boone Hamner of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on November 9, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Boone and Edna Reed Boone; her husband Charles Edward Hamner, Jr.; and her siblings, Angela and William S. Boone.
She is survived by: her brother Joseph A. Boone (Lee Boone) of Irwinton, Georgia; her children, Diana Inman (Randy Inman) of Chapel Hill, NC and Clifton Hamner (Giovana Mantovani) of Roxboro, NC; her grandchildren, Anne Marie Hamner (Jack McAndrews) of Pinehurst, NC, Kellie Hamner (Patrick Irving) of Chapel Hill, NC and Reed Inman of San Francisco; and her great grandchild Riley McAndrews of Pinehurst. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
