She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Merritt and Effie Merritt. She is survived by: her daughter Natalyn Bradshaw-Haile Selassie; her granddaughter Fana Ruth Haile Selassie; and her siblings, Angela Belk and James Merritt. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
