With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Ruvio (Chapel Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on May 1, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Susan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Nevel and Jane Block; and her brother-in-law Gary Reid. She is survived by: her daughter Alyson Ruvio; her siblings, Carol Reid, Nancy Pollak (Dale), Maura Scherrer (Daniel) and Adam Nevel (Kathryn); and her stepmother Etta Nevel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
