He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy O'Neill Cook and Dr. Thomas James Cook. He is survived by: his wife Vici Cook; his daughters, Stacia Cook Ontjes and Casey O'Neill Cook; his grandchildren, Olivia, Noah and Max Ontjes; his brother Tony Cook; his nephew Parker Emery; and his siblings, Peter Cook and Carol Emery.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 100 Old Mason Farm Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27517.
