He is survived by: his wife LeRae Cooney; his sons, Thomas Richard Cooney, Jr. and Matthew Ryan Cooney; his grandchild Madison Elizabeth Coston; his brother Dan Cooney (Barbara); and his brother-in-law Stuart Carr (Dennis Skrzekut).
