He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Abele and Weston Hare; his daughter Alane Hare Quade (Lanie); his brother Theodore Hare (Ted); and his brothers-in-law, Carl Coppock and Paul Hellenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Heishman; his sons, Wes (Anne) and Ken (Yolanda); his son-in-law Christopher Quade; his grandchildren, Tyler, Blake Hare, Brittany Hare Busby (Shawn), Mary Elizabeth Hare, Zuling, ShiLi and YaMin Quade; his great grandchildren, Lachlan and Beckham Busby; his sisters, Marjorie Coppock and Betsy Hellenberg; and his sister-in-law Anita Hare. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
