It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Goldberg (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Aaron Goldberg and Ida Axelrod Goldberg; and his sisters, Sonya Goldberg Rapoport and Judith Goldberg Ogan. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Abrams Goldberg; his sons, Michael D. Goldberg (Ashley) and Jonathan M Goldberg (Susan); his grandchildren, Grace Goldberg Koster, Jake A. Goldberg and Luke Z. Goldberg; his stepgrandchildren, Morgana Schiermeyer and Hunter Schiermeyer; and his great grandchildren, Elsa and Margo Koster.
