He is survived by: his wife Lilian Walters Burgess; his children, Clephane Burgess (Leila), Hazel Harris (Gordon), Michael Walters (Gloria), Aubrey Burgess (Violet) and Waveney Crawford; and his grandchildren, Alana Burgess-Johnson, Marjorie Burgess, Clephane Burgess (Mickey), Jose Harris, Mercedes Harris, Chrystal Burgess, Christopher Burgess, Gordon, Catherine Burgess (CJ), Jessica Burgess and Sarah Walters.
