He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Tec and Toribia Tec; and his siblings, Florentina, Fernando and Rodolfo.

He is survived by: his wife Amelita; his children, Juliet, Mario, Alfonso Jr., Albert, Raquel, Mary Anne, Janer and Daizy; and his grandchildren, Jance, Chloe, Janer Jr., Michelle, Kathleen, Jerik, Junior, Gabriel, Alh, Eve Jaz, Justin, Alyssa and Bryan.
