He is survived by: his wife Polly Godwin; his children, Marty Godwin of Charlotte and Elaine Ivie; his brother Ricky of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Ryan Ivie, Justin Ivie, Grayson Godwin, Colby Godwin and Cooper Godwin; and his great grandchildren, Jaycee, Addyson and Chance Ivie.
