She is survived by: her daughter Marlen Morrow of Charlotte; her sister Margaret Roberts of Cottageville; her nephew Davido Dupree (Renelle); her nieces, Tasha Roberts of Charleston, Kimberly Roberts of Matthews and Jolyn Roberts of Winston-Salem; her siblings-in-law, Edward Dupree of Baltimore, Maryland and Mary Roberts of Charlotte; and her close friend Mary Frances Gibbs. She is also survived by neighbor who became like a son to her, as well as her extended family, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, church family, quilting sisters.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church (3400 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216-3740). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church (3301 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216).
