It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Andrea Powell (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on June 9, 2018, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent James Edwin. She is survived by: her parent Daisy Brooks Powell; her daughter Mandy Snellings of Charlotte; her granddaughters, Leanna Snellings of Rock Hill and Nicole Snellings of Charlotte; and her sisters, Jeanne Powell of Texas, Cheryl Ryland of Tennessee and Kathy Perkins of Virginia.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St. Anthony the Great Orthodox Church or to Saint Mary & Martha's Monastery.
