With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Andrew D. Plepler (Charlotte, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Andrew left this world on September 11, 2025 at the age of 64, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Andrew may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Andrew touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his father Sanford Plepler. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Curtis; his children, Alexandra, Jonathan (Mary Summers) and Catherine Plepler; his stepsons, Colton and Fletcher Curtis; his brother Richard Plepler (Lisa); his niece Eden Plepler; and his mother Constance Plepler. He is also survived by friends, relatives.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Temple Beth El (5101 Providence Rd, Charlotte, NC 28226).

I knew Rick better than I did Andy, since Rick and I were tennis players and Andy was a golfer. :) But I found Andy to be unpretentious, empathetic, and charitable, even at a young age. I thought that the eulogy that he gave for his father in Manchester captured Sandy perfectly and was among the very best that I've heard.
