We are sad to announce that, on December 30, 2025, at the age of 95, Augustus Joe Knox (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Seneca, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Augustus departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Augustus may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Augustus leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia H. Knox; his parents, William Joe Knox and Dessie Mae Martin Knox; and his son Larrv Knox. He is survived by: his children, Windy Knight, Tracy Speaks (Jon) and Randy Knox. He is also survived by seven grandsons.
