Betty Bridges Obituary

The memory of Betty Bridges of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Scott and Lottie Fowler Scott Duckett; and her brother Bobby. She is survived by: her husband James Frank "Buddy" Bridges; her daughters, Kim Scruggs (Michael) of Campobello, SC and Dawn Tatum (Bill) of Davidson, NC; her grandchildren, Melanie Tatum Janko (Cory), Chrissy Tatum Williamson (Justin), Sarah Tatum Sacco (Ethan), Tristan Scruggs (Jamie Sue) and Masha Zhuk; her great grandchildren, Sasha, Mia, McKinley, Luca and Hollis; and her caregiver Betty. She is also survived by her daughters, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites memorial donations be made in Betty's memory to Williamson's Chapel UMC in Mooresville, NC.
