Beverly Santora Obituary

Beverly Jean Lindsey (Jordan) Santora , 85 passed away peacefully on June 16, 2020. Beverly a native of Charlotte was born September 19, 1934. Daughter of the late LaDoyt Edward Lindsey and Ruby O. Lindsey of Charlotte, NC. Beverly graduated from Harding School in the class of 1952 and attended Charlotte College. Beverly was an active member of Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church.

She worked with the youth department and the college and career department. Was active in Women Missionary Union and taught Training Union class for many years. She was a cabin counselor for many years at Camp Ridgecrest. She was a great listener for many young adults. Beverly retired from BASF Dispersions and Resin Laboratory and enjoyed traveling with her late husband Michael J. Santora.

They were married for 31 years. Preceded in death by her brothers, LaDoyt E. Lindsey, Jr, David Lindsey and Robert Lindsey. She is survived by her daughter Lisia (Robert) Shaw, sister Janet (Michael) Turner and Anne McDaniel, granddaughter Rachel Shaw and grandson Robert A. Shaw Jr; great grandchildren, John Russell Perry Jr, Summer Massey, Autumn Shaw, Sean Shaw and Jack J. Jenneli along with many nieces and nephews.

We the family would like to thank Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center 6th and 7th floor ICU nurses for the care they gave Beverly and Levine Dickson Hospice House for making the passing of Beverly easy on her family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to PMBC to support the Camp Ridgecrest Scholarship and the childrens department.
