It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Amanda Gardner of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Cornelius, North Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ronnie Gardner; her siblings, Pat Brown, Marcy Frye and Thomas Hager; and her parents, Linnie Hager and Willie Hager.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Beaver (Perry) and DeRon Gardner (Brooke); her grandchildren, Jonathan, Gracie and Hannah Beaver; and her sisters, Mary Reid, April Phillippi and Judy Lance. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Charlotte or Carolina Caring Hospice, honoring Billie's lifelong compassion and care for others.
