He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Pentland; and his brother Blair. He is survived by: his mother Jeanne Griffin of Fort Mill, SC; his close friend Melissa Kupec of Charlotte, NC; his daughter Alison of Brooklyn, NY; and his sisters, Kate Eaton of Clover, SC, Amy Tripp (Tony) of Lexington, NC and Elaine Brooks (Chris) of Rock Hill, SC. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews, and many beloved friends.
