We are sad to announce that, on October 29, 2025, at the age of 85, Buster Tanner (Charlotte, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Buster departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Buster. Though Buster may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Tanner and Rosebud Tanner; and his son Eric Calvin Tanner. He is survived by: his wife LaLoy Tanner; his daughter Tammy Tanner Helms; his granddaughter Amber Tanner Doster (Caleb); his great grandchild Cohen Dean Doster; and his brothers, Tanner (Lucille) and Charles Tanner (Linda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
